dumb poemI don't know why I don't feel right so completely different from the other nightdumb poem
trying so hard just to behave I guess I'm just stuck as insanity's slave
a wounded animal it's teeth are bared confused and blinded and it's judgment impaired
warped and twisted passed repair every instinct puts me back in my lair
one minute I'm smart, the next I am dumb either writhing in pain or totally numb

(in that quirky-jaunty way you do) and handed me a flower.
I put it behind my ear (because it was your idea that I should do the “hot islander” thing)
but after a while
I finally looked at the flower. Golden, but dried on the edges. (Im)perfect.
And (on the inside) Was a spider.
I could’ve screamed, (or elaborated on the symbolism of arachnids, or
by ~plum-perfect
